can we build a custom package?
what do you shoot with?

Of course! Rather have Bridal portraits than Engagements? Swap 'em out. Need more time? Just say when. Every package is fully customizable so you can get exactly what you're wanting at a price point that works for you.

do you travel?

HELL YES! Thanks to my Father, I have a deep, deep love for travel. I'm not sure my wanderlust is ever fully satisfied. Marc and I both have our passports, as well as a bucket list of places we're dying to shoot: Joshua Tree National Park, Helsinki, Chicago, anywhere in Iceland, plus a few more. If you're planning a trip to any of these places, contact us! If your destination isn't on the list, hit us up anyways. We want to photograph as much love in as much of the world as possible.

We're based in New Mexico, but travel everywhere. #swanderlust

what is required to book with you?
how did you get into photography?

Not to be cliche, but I've had a camera in my hands almost as long as I can  remember. My Daddy always took me and my sisters to new places like New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and Destin and I always had a good stock of those disposable film cameras on me. When I was a junior in high school, my big sister was a senior. At the time, we couldn't afford to get her portraits professionally done, so I offered to do them. From there I really fell in love with portraiture. As for weddings, I got a job at JCPenney Portrait Studio in Dallas after graduation. I had a couple come in for their engagement photos and they loved them so much, they asked if I did weddings. I said sure! on January 1, 2011 I photographed my first wedding. I stick with photography because not only is it my passion, but because I know just how important freezing those moments in time is. My Daddy, who has always been my biggest cheerleader in life, passed away in 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He didn't recognize me for the last few years, but his life and his memories live on through images that I will cherish the rest of my life.

I require a 25% non-refundable retainer to book your wedding or 50% non-refundable retainer for your portrait session. The remaining balance for weddings is due no later than 30 days before the wedding date. Portrait remaining balances are due at the end of the session. Swan Photography accepts cash, check, money order, Chase QuickPay, Honeybook, and Square.

what qualifies as a destination wedding?

Basically anything outside of North Texas. We're obsessed with documenting the relationship of two people in love AND exploring new places. When the two coincide, it really is the best of both worlds. Our passports are current and we're always up for an adventure. We have Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, Utah, Hawaii, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oregon, Mexico, and British Columbia under our belts.

We are! And boosted!

YASSSS! We are starting the dive into Photo + Video as of late 2019. Marc is insanely passionate about creating films. You can check out our current portfolio HERE!
