Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel expenses are not included in destination session prices. Fees are based on distance and time.
Why don't you shoot big weddings anymore?
To be completely transparent, it was killing my body--eye sight, back and neck, seizures (I have epilepsy, and even though I'm medicated, sometimes they break through with all the strobes and florescent lights anyway). I also was spending so much time away from my kids, I realized how much of their lives I was missing out on.
That being said, I do offer Courthouse elopements as well as wedding attire sessions.

What happens if you can't make it to the session?
I will reschedule or refund, though after 15 years it's not something I've done more than maybe 3 or 4 times. The main reasons for rescheduling on my end would be illness/injury or severe weather (rain, lightning, flooding, extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme wind).
What locations do you recommend for a couples or portrait session?
I have a handy list of beautiful places around the DFW metroplex--urban, garden, open fields, studios. I also like to chat with my couples about where they like to go on dates, where they met or proposed, or anywhere that is special to them.
