HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
Via online gallery! You'll be able to download all edited high resolution images with a 4 digit PIN. Galleries are delivered within 2 weeks of your portrait session. Images are hosted for 6 months.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
HELL YES!
Thanks to my Dad, I have a deep love of travel. I'm not sure if my wanderlust is every fully satisfied. I want to photograph as much love in as much of the world as I can. I am dual based in Texas and split my time in New Mexico, but travel everywhere. My passport could always use more stamps. To follow along with my adventures, follow #swanderlust on Insta.
DO WE HAVE TO PRINT OUR IMAGES THROUGH YOU?
Not at all, though my print lab is designed for professional photographers, so my quality will be the best. You do retain the print rights, so take them wherever you'd like! Here's a tip though: avoid places like Walgreens/CVS/Walmart for printing as they're consumer based labs who aren't calibrated for professional photography. They're known to destroy image quality, which can result in green/grey/de-saturated tones.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK WITH YOU?
We require a 50% non-refundable retainer for portraits, along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due by the end of the session. We accept payments via card, bank transfer, cash, and/or check. Invoices and contracts are sent through our CRM, Honeybook.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF EMERGENCY AND YOU CAN'T MAKE IT?
We can reschedule at no cost or I will hire an associate photographer as backup. This will be someone I trust professionally, someone who also works in the couples industry, to step in if needed. That photographer will then send me the files that we edit in my signature true to life style.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO PHOTOGRAPHY?
Not to be cliche, but I've had a camera in my hands as long as I can remember. My Dad would take me and my sisters on epic adventures, like to New Orleans and Washington, D.C., that I would capture on those little disposable film cameras. When I was a junior in high school, my oldest sister was a senior. Unfortunately we couldn't afford to have them professionally done, so I offered to do them. From there I really fell in love with portraiture. My first job outside of school was at JCPenney Portrait Studio. There was a couple who came in for their engagement session who loved working with me so much they asked if I shot weddings. Me being a broke college kid said, "Of course I do!" I photographed my first wedding January 1, 2011. I'm passionate about photography, not only because I love it, but because I know just how important freezing those moments in time is. My Daddy, who was always my biggest cheerleader, passed away in 2020 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. He didn't recognize me over the last few years, but his memory will live on through images that I will cherish the rest of my life.
